Why This Property

One Community is a Highest Good of All organization open source project-launch blueprinting everything needed to build self-propagating teacher/demonstration communities, villages, and cities all over the world. This page is about the importance and details of the location we have chosen to build and share One Community; the actual coordinates of which we are still unable to share because we continue to seek help to secure it.




Here are the key criteria we have met with the property we have selected for the building of One Community.

  • Zoned and sized to incorporate as our own municipality
  • Sufficient water to supply our agricultural and  long-term expansion goals
  • Sufficient sunlight for 100% solar power off-grid energy system
  • Sufficient tourism traffic to support our eco-tourism model through overflow alone if needed
  • Weather conducive to our aquaponics plans, establishing a food forest, as well as tourism
  • Location convenient to a major airport for national and international travelers to access us
  • Location remote enough to provide all the beauty and benefits of a “getaway” experience
  • Location not so remote that we don’t have access to medical services for emergencies
  • Existing infrastructure to house the Pioneer Team while we build Pod 1 and Pod 2
  • Existing beauty to be marketable to people immediately versus needing years of development
  • County excited to support and help develop One Community as a model for counties everywhere


We have spent three years identifying the property that meets all of the above criteria and then establishing the necessary relationships and support that will be essential to our open source project-launch blueprinting that can be used to build sustainable teacher/demonstration communities and cities that meet International Building Code standards. Having succeeded in that, we are now in the process of bringing our current plans up to code and identifying what is necessary for successful implementation of our sustainability methodologies where research and data are still needed if they are to be implemented in accordance with the code. This process of working with the county and the International Building Code is something we will continue indefinitely and is, in our opinion, foundational to our open source project-launch blueprinting process for global application.


In addition to the favorable political building environment that we have established, there are several other keys to this property in relation to our global goals:

  1. The location of the property, while remote, is in a county with one of the highest national averages per-capita for tourism: 5.5 million people visit the surrounding area each year and the local hotels are booked 6 months in advance. This supports the sharing of our sustainability model and the overflow from local hotels and motels alone is projected to be capable of keeping our eco-tourism revenue stream flowing.
  2. The tourism traffic to the area is due to some of America’s premiere natural wonders that attract people favorable to what One Community is creating.
  3. The physical details of the property itself provide enough space for ongoing expansion and 4 distinct building and development environments (high desert, forest, grassland, and marshland) to showcase each of the 7 unique building village models and methods as specifically unique exhibits for duplication as additional teacher/demonstration communities, villages, and cities to be built anywhere in the world.
  4. The property provides an environment that could attract tourism on day one. This is important to us and to the world because One Community will be expanding for years, and sharing what we are doing, especially in the beginning stages, is important to the launching of duplicate communities by others as soon as possible. In our opinion, the world does not have 3-5 years to wait for people to get interested and involved while we continue to develop, so we’ve chosen a property with immediate visitor appeal so that we can begin hands-on sharing and teaching as soon as possible.
  5. The property is inspirational. What we mean by this is that the property is one of those places that you want to return to, that you wish you could live on, and that you’d love to tell your friends about – even without everything we will be adding to it. For anyone who has experienced a place like this, what we describe is very different from a “tourism attraction” quality and feel. It is something deeper and, in our opinion, essential to inspiring and motivating people to seek something similar in their own lives, which we will teach them how to do.

Q: Why not start this somewhere else?

We believe the world needs a model solution that is a solution building model as quickly as possible, and we are committed to all the details outlined on our Better World Page. Less comprehensive examples of sustainability, sustainability without the right location, and sustainability with a different focus already exist and have, in our opinion, not accomplished our goals because they lack one or more of the key components of the complete model. For this reason, we see building anything less than what we are fully capable of, which is the full expression of One Community as detailed throughout this website, as investing energy in a direction that is counterproductive to the direction we need to go.

Q: Are you open to exploring other properties?

With the three years invested in this property already, and a business plan designed around it specifically, we are choosing not to restart this process and invest any energy in any other direction unless this property is no longer an option.

Q: What if I know someone who might be able to donate a property?

We are committed to this location for all the reasons already mentioned, but we already have the established relationships with people interested in building sister communities, so please contact us so we can all explore what is possible.

We aren’t sharing the specific location of the property because it is still on the market and we’d like to secure its purchase first.

Q: What happens if the property becomes unavailable for some reason?

We will start the process over and find a new property.
