Chefs and Food Preparers
One Community is looking for people who love to prepare and cook delicious and nutritious food for small and large groups in a sustainable community atmosphere. We seek one additional individual who wants to join our current Executive Chef and team of One Community Pioneers – people who are awake and aware and ready to create and embody a New Way to Live. Our current pioneer group represents a diverse dietary choice range from high-protein diets to raw foodists, and we welcome the addition of creativity and knowledge in our goal of maximum food diversity and sustainability within one year.

At One Community, we will be starting with 40-50 Community Pioneers on the property full-time and spending an average of about 20 hours a week each in building the first structures, including temporary growth structures, with food preparation being counted toward the 40 hour weekly contribution.
We have designs and a team of knowledgeable individuals ready to create a diversity of growth structures and farming techniques that will produce an abundant variety of fruits and vegetables including plans for a tropical food growth dome, an orchard, and aquaponic growth structures. We currently plan on having goats to provide milk, chickens to provide eggs, and fish and/or shrimp will be used as an integral part of the aquaponics structures and can be harvested for those seeking more than a vegetarian diet. Initially we will be purchasing our food from local suppliers but anticipate near 100% food self-sustainability within one year.
We are looking for chefs and food preparers who want to be Community Pioneers.

HOW COMMUNITY MEMBERS ARE COMPENSATED
● You will own a home you helped design and build after 18 months
● You accrue equal share of community revenue as distributed based on consensus
● Community Pioneers are provided food, utilities, and a place to live until your own home is built
● We are creating a model for living that will be duplicated and shared to help people around the world
