Center of Peace

This page has been moved because what used to be called the Center of Peace is now the One Community SEGO Center. This building is a duplicable city hub and a foundational component of the One Community teacher/demonstration community, village, city model purposed to demonstrate cutting-edge sustainability, to function as the community recreation center, dining hall, laundry facility, and to offer a green-luxury option to donors, major eco-investors, VIPs, or anyone else that might not feel like they are initially ready to stay in one of our earthbag or straw bale hand-constructed homes. It will also replace individual kitchens, laundry rooms, and living rooms for One Community residents.

FOUNDATIONAL TO OUR OPEN SOURCE BLUEPRINT

The SEGO Center is foundational to our open source blueprint because:

● Construction of this building and all related infrastructure does not require the use of any heavy machinery
● Anyone that duplicates this component of our project will be able to operate it as an eco-tourism destination and build any one of our open source Pod models around it to start their own off-grid low-impact city as per our global change strategy and duplication goals
● Our established partnerships will make all components of the One Community SEGO Center affordable and capable of being shipped anywhere in the world for easy replication
● We will be open source sharing our blueprints, permitting process, and all aspects of the construction process from groundbreaking to completion. This means anyone following our model will know what to expect and where to turn for help if they need it
● The One Community SEGO Center will offer and represent a unique experience which will entice people to visit One Community for the first time that normally wouldn’t. What they experience with the rest of One Community will lead them to return and/or desire to duplicate our model for themselves

"In order to change an existing paradigm you do not struggle to try and change the problematic model.

You create a new model and make the old one obsolete. That, in essence, is the higher service to which we are all being called."
~ Buckminster Fuller ~
